Read: Jeremiah 3:4-10
"Judah has not turned to Me with her whole heart,
but in pretense," says the Lord. --Jeremiah 3:10
Have you heard the story about a driver who put a note under the windshield wiper of a parked car? The note read, "I have just smashed into your car. The people who saw the accident are watching me. They think I'm writing down my name and address. I'm not."
This story reminds me of another bit of devious pretense. In Jeremiah 3, the people of Judah were described as willing to call God their Father and friend while still doing all the evil they could (vv.4-5). They only pretended to return to the Lord; their hearts were far from Him.
Putting on a false front is a very old practice, but it hasn't gone out of fashion. I can't think of a problem I'm more concerned about in myself than a failure to respond from my heart to the Lord, who has made Himself so real and so reachable in Christ. It's easy to say, "Yes, yes, He is our Lord and Savior. He has died for our sins and deserves our worship and service."
But do we remember our commitment to Him when no one is around to observe how we live?
We may say the right things about God when it's in our best interest to do so. But what about our heart relationship with the Lord? Can we come before Him without shame? Looking good in the eyes of others is not enough. --MRD II

This is just a letter of appreciation from me to you. I'd like to say "thanks" for letting me use you for most of your life. You are so gullible.

I hate you because I hate God. I was there when He created man. I even know the reason why! He created you to be His friends! He wanted to enjoy fellowship with you and he created you to be able to return His love. I used to be an angel. Angels were not created like you. When He created man, He made you guys like Him! I hate that! That's why I hate God! Yes, I was an angel, in fact I used to lead all of the other angels in Praise and Worship in Heaven. I was the most beautiful being that God created, that is...until He created man! I had beautiful instruments that came from my body, to play beautiful music for God. I loved everything else God created, but then He created man, He created YOU! Man was so special to God. I guess my music wasn't enough, He had to have you! So, I am only using you to get even with God.
The nice thing is that if you don't return to Him in this life, I get to be with you forever! That's what I mean by us being together twice. Isn't that great?
With all the good times we have had watching dirty movies, cussing folks out, partying, stealing, lying, fornicating, smoking, drinking, working roots, telling dirty jokes, gossiping, hating, backstabbing folks, envying, and lusting. It's been great!
Come on, let's burn together forever. I've got some hot plans for us!
If you were smart, you would run somewhere, confess your sins, ask Jesus to save you! He is the only one who can. No one else besides Jesus, has or ever will defeat me. If you were smart, you would live for God with what little bit of life you have left. Ha! Your life is so pathetic! Filled with selfish hopes and dreams. Twas The Night Before Jesus Came
Twas the night before Jesus came and all through the house Not a creature was praying, not one in the house. Their Bibles were lain on the shelf without care in hopes that Jesus would not come there. The children were dressing to crawl into bed. Not once ever kneeling or bowing a head. And Mom in her rocker with baby on her lap, was watching the late show while I took a nap.
When out of the East there arose such a clatter. I sprung to my feet to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew like a flash Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash! When what to my wondering eyes should appear But angels proclaiming that Jesus was here! With a light like the sun sending forth a bright ray
I knew in a moment this must be the day! The light of his face made me cover my head It was Jesus ! Returning just like he had said! And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth.
I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself. In the Book of Life which he held in his hand was written the name of every saved man. He spoke not a word as he searched for my name. When He said "It?s not here" my head hung in shame.
The people whose names had been written with love
He gathered to take to his Father above. With those who were ready he rose without a sound While all the rest were left standing around. I fell to my knees, but it was too late; I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight. Oh, if only I had been ready tonight.
In the words of this poem the meaning is clear; The coming of Jesus is drawing near. There?s only one life and when comes the last call We?ll find that the Bible was true after all!

Will you be ready?
If you have never made Jesus Lord of your life.... If you have never asked Him into your heart, and have never made it a necessity to serve Him all the days of your life, if you want to be sure that your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life, then don't hesitate, don't delay, because none of knows if we'll get another chance.............
How can I be saved?
First you must understand that because of sin, our fellowship with God was broken....destroyed. And that no matter how "good" we think we are, or how many numerous "good deeds" we do or have done, we cannot attain the sinless state that we once had ever again, by our own power. Romans 3:23 says: " For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." We can never pay the price of sin and make ourselves able to be in the presence of God, because God cannot and will not fellowship with sin, because He is HOLY and SINLESS.
But God loved you and me so much that He did not leave us out here on our own, with NO WAY BACK TO HIM. John 3:16 says, " For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, (Jesus Christ), that whosoever should believe on Him, shall be saved." Jesus paid the price for you and me!!
Jesus said, and it is written in John 14:6,
"Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me".
Friend, if you would like to receive the payment that Jesus made for you, just say this prayer with me now, and mean it from the bottom of your heart, and YOU WILL BE SAVED!
Dear Heavenly Father,
I am a sinner. I acknowledge the death and resurrection of your Son, Jesus, for the remission of my sins. Jesus, I am asking you to forgive me of my sins, and to save me, so that my name will be written in the Lamb's Book of Life. I am giving you Lordship of my life now, I commit to serving and obeying you from this day forward. Please come into my heart and my life now, Jesus. I acknowledge you as my Savior and Lord, and deny any other god.
Lord, your Word says, that if any come unto you, you will in no way, turn them away. Lord in faith, I am believing you and coming to you and I receive the forgiveness of my sins, and I receive you into my life.
I thank you Jesus for shedding your blood, so that I could be forgiven and reconciled unto God, and be guaranteed a place in Heaven, I am assured that my name is now written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Thank you Lord Jesus.

Only through the confession of sin and the profession of faith in Christ can one be saved!
So, please don't procrastinate telling those that you love and care for, the good news about Jesus and how they too can be saved!
Just like going to Burger King doesn't make you a Burger or a King, going to Church doesn't make you saved!The Word of God says there is only one way to Heaven, and being a good person, or doing lots of good deeds, giving to the poor etc, is not that way....Jesus Christ is THE ONLY WAY, and the only way to get Him is to invite Him into your heart and life, just like you did today.
Don't believe that because someone goes to church that they are saved, tell them too! There are many who attend church faithfully and have for years, but sadly do not have their names written in Heaven. You should tell other people what Jesus did for you, so that they might be saved too, as the time is growing short and Jesus is coming very soon, but if they die before they give their lives to Jesus, it will be too late. If you just prayed that prayer, and you meant it with all of your heart, then this very day, your name has been entered into the lamb's book of life and you are saved!
Get yourself a King James Version Bible. (Do not buy a New International Version (NIV) as it is a 'compromised' version, and is missing many many scriptures! Even the New King James Version has actually CHANGED Scriptures!)
