Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matt. 7:13-14

Dear Valerie,

Would you say that atheists were possessed of the devil?

John, NH

Dear John,

Let me share with you what the Word of God says, and declare to you that I agree with God.

Psalm 14:1a says, "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. "
So, we know for starters, one who says in his heart, there is no God, is a fool according to God.
Furthermore, it is written in Romans 1:19-20 that God has shown Himself, and caused Himself to be understood by the things He has created and so we are without excuse, in other words, there is no logical excuse that man should not believe in God because all of the things in the heavens and the earth that He has created declare His glory. (Psalm 19:1 "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.")

Romans 1:19-20 "Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"

Now, obviously if one doesn't believe in God, one also then does not believe in Jesus Christ. What does the Word of God have to say about such a one?
1 John 4:3 says, "
And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."
2 Corinthians 4:3-4 says:
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

So, by the Word we can see that would be reasonable to believe that demonic activity is at work in the lives of all unbelievers, whether or not one is actually "possessed".

Thank you for your question.

In the service of Christ,
~Valerie

Dear Valerie:

You know your WORD, that is for sure. I was quite intrigued by some of the letters and I liked your soft but wise response. God bless you for that. Anyway, an comment to pass on to Fred. In the Lord's prayer Jesus says to the Father, "Thy WILL be done on earth as it is in heaven"

Is there ANY sickness, poverty, lack, in heaven?"

God gave me supernatural revelation on this and after years of confusion on whether we should pray God's will concerning poverty or sickness, this settled it for me. I now KNOW that by His stripes I am healed (though I may still be in process of healing while I wait for the full manifestation of my healing).

As for your letter from K, there are scriptures in the bible that talk about the occult and horoscopes etc and that hell is the result if they do not turn away from it. As for being gay, those who chose to be that way in the bible, God gave them over to their sin; man lying with man, and woman with woman. If a person thinks that living a homosexual life is okay with God, then He would have to repent for destroying Sodom and Ghemorra (wrong spelling). Anyway, thanks for a great page. God bless you as you continue to move in His love and wisdom in answering all those letters.

Christiane

Dear Christiane,

In response to your letter, I would like to say, thank you very much for your words of encouragement. And amen, about what you said, about the Lord's Prayer! A simple, yet powerful truth! amen and amen!

Thank you for taking the time to respond. It is great encouragement to hear others echo the Words of Faith of our Lord, and our God! Hallelujah!

And amen to what you said about<<<(though I may still be in process of healing while I wait for the full manifestation of my healing).>>>

We live in a microwave generation, and many, if they don't receive an immediate answer, solution, or healing, they think that they are not going to receive what they have asked for. Some won't even ask! But God promises over and over that He will deliver, anything we ask in Jesus name, BELIEVING<--(key condition) Sometimes the Lord, just wants to stretch our faith, which is why He will take extra time to bring the full manifestation, so that at the end of our trial, He brings us to a higher level of faith for something that requires MORE faith to receive in the future, whether it be for us, or for someone else. I know that God desires for us to Raise the Dead.(of course not at our own whims, but when He tells us to) but in order to reach that level of faith, we must show ourselves approved in the smaller things first--amen? Well, I do not know how I got into all of that, but may the Lord receive Glory for it, anyway! Hallelujah!

God Bless you and Keep you!

In Christ,

Valerie
